This is one of the photos you get when you google images for Jan. 14th

I find the flower interesting. Isn't this a rose? The painting shows texture and depth. I wish I could paint. Maybe I will take up painting as a hobby. Do you think it would be relaxing and therapeutic or nerve-racking trying to get it just right?

Painting is something I have always wished so bad I could do.
I have never really tried BUT I don't think I'd be very good at it, it'd probably be more nerve-racking for me than anything.
You wouldn't believe alot of paintings I have that my stepgrandmother did, ohhhh they're beautiful, just can't believe someone can do such beautiful work and it just comes natural to them.

Beautiful picture. I think it would be fun as long as you could let yourself just enjoy it without stressing over it.

Painting or any other kind of creating is a form of meditation...relax and enjoy the PROCESS rather than the outcome - you will always be surprised.

Lovely picture. I use to draw a lot, but never tried painting. I think if you are a naturally patient person, I think you'd love it. I would love to see what you come up with. Good to see you're feeling better.

Hi, I just stopped by for the first time, very nice blog)
.
About painting, for me, sometimes it depends where I am in the process. When I begin painting it's easy because I'm just exploring and chucking on paint, the closer I get to the end the more focused the work gets, so that can be tiring. When i started out I bought a pack of pastels and just doodled things and coloured them in. Can be nice to do in the evening with a glass of wine.

I think stress and nerves have to do with expectations and fear so I always start with the idea that I'm just playing and messing about.

By the way is the I believe post your own writing, I found it very reassuring somehow.)

happy creating,

Sarah.)
