Thanksgiving luncheon at work

I busted my chops last night making chicken for the Thanksgiving luncheon. To tell the truth by the time we ate it today, the breast tenderloins were a little dry, so we all had to drown them in gravy or bury them in dressing to make palatable.

I bought dressing, 4 Poppy Seed Chicken casseroles, a squash casserole, potatoes Au gratin, and a German chocolate cake from Sunday Dinner. I also bought a spiral sliced ham from Publix. We had a great time with fellowship and the feast was well eaten, but I was disappointed in my food purchases from Sunday Dinner, except for the Poppy Seed Chicken casseroles, which turned out to be very good.

I am full from all the other good eats my co-workers made. Now my hubby wants me to cook supper and I am really not interested. I would just like to go get in the bed and sleep.

I will have to break down and make some homemade dressing and macaroni-n-cheese the way my Momma taught me how to make, so I can get over this craving for Thanksgiving food. I will make some stuffed celery as well.

I hope everyone has a Happy Thanksgiving!

I had wondered what happened to you. Welcome back. Will you be posting pictures of your grandson any time soon. He must be quite big by now.

Hope eveything is going well with you.

Life just seems to have gotten in the way of my blogging. I will try to remedy that. LOL
