Patience

I have always been rather an impatient person. Can't wait for anything, have to have it now type. If anything a grandson who lives two hours away teaches you how to be patient. I am patiently waiting for my husband to finish some work on the house since a tree fell on it so we can put it on the market. I am patiently waiting for my daughter in law to put our house on the market. I am patiently waiting for the house to sell. I am patiently waiting for an opening at the office closer to my grandson that I can apply for. I am patiently waiting for the next weekend that I can go see him. I am patiently waiting for him to be old enough for a car ride to come see his Grandy. So you can see I am trying to be patient, but it doesn't seem to be working so well. I probably will hop in the car and go visit very soon. I guess my gas bill and mileage on the car is going to be astronomical.

How are things going with you guys. Hope everyone has been doing okay since I have been away. Maybe I will get back to a somewhat normal routine now.

I would be just like you, it would be so hard for me to stay away from that precious baby for very long at a time also. I hope things all work out and you are able to move closer to them soon.

Things have been going ok around here, just staying busy with the normal everyday things.

I understand!! When Sam was first born, they lived in Huntsville--WAY too far! Now they live in Birmingham, but unfortunately we still don't see him as much as we'd like. :(

I'm guessing you're loving being a grandmother?? lol

The only good part about "Grandy" going home, is that the new-mom is basically forced to learn skills: That's when I scaped up the courage to attempt my first bath...for the baby...I was terrified.
